Step 1: Add Describe It to your Shopify Store #
To add Describe It to your Shopify store, please follow the steps below.
- Navigate to Describe It on the Shopify app store.
- Click the Install button.
- If it prompts you, enter your .myshopify.com URL.
- Click Install.
- Select a plan and click Continue.
- Select your payment method and click Approve.
- Read through the terms of service and privacy policy, then click Accept and continue.
Step 2: Install Describe It on your Shopify theme #
The Describe It audio player can be quickly installed on your Shopify Online Store 2.0 theme in just a few simple steps. Add the basic or advanced audio player to your preferred location on the product page. For detailed instructions, please visit our Installation Guide for Describe It.
Step 3: Choose your Describe It voice #
Describe includes 20 voices, both male and female, capable of narrating product descriptions in five different languages. You can listen to audio samples for each voice and choose your preferred voice, language, and regional accent in the audio settings. For detailed instructions, please visit Audio Settings.
Step 4: Create your product groups #
Product groups determine which of your products have audio descriptions. You can hand select each product you want to include in the group. For detailed instructions, please visit Create a Product Group.
Step 5: Customize your Audio Widget (Optional) #
Match the Describe It audio player to your store’s brand and style. Switch the audio widget between the basic or advanced style, customize the colors, add a title, use your own custom CSS, and more. For more information, please visit Customize the Audio Player Style.
